Natural path of San Rosendo

This path, which can be explored on foot or by bicycle, is part of the National Natural Path Network and it connects the Lugo and Ourense provinces. It’s named after San Rosendo, who founded various monasteries and was considered the holy Galicia advocate. He was also the bishop of San Martiño de Mondoñedo. One of the stages of this path goes through the Mondoñedo, Lourenzá, Barreiros and Foz municipalities, a total of 32 km.

If anyone is interested on starting this route from the Barreiros municipality they must go to the Celeiro de Mariñaos parish.
