Within the Masma ria lies this peaceful beach, with calm waves and a cove shape. It’s 250 meters long and its width varies between 10 and 45 meters. On its left side there’s a boat ramp which can be used at high tide.

It’s next to the Punta da Anguieira beach and the dune system of the Altar beach. Both beaches are a good place to observe water birds.

It has a playground and a motorhome service area next to it.

The Acantilado-Remior, San Bartolo, Altar and Anguieira beaches are all within the Special Protection Area (SPA) of the Foz-Masma ria, a natural space of great importance at European level for the conservation of endangered species of birds.
