It was built in 1898 by Mr Rogelio Puentes. Alvariño’s house is the only house of Indiano promotion that incorporates the creation of a large romantic garden with aquariums, ponds, an octagonal dovecote, playgrounds for children and cement tables. Among the different tree species typical of the colonial garden we can find camellias, palm trees, fruit tree, etc.

On the main façade of the building, placed on top of the garden, there is a large two-storey gallery built in wood and supported by four iron columns that form an entrance portico.Of special relevance are the ornamental details of wood hanging from the bay window, the garlands and the decorative shell-shaped medallions above the windows and on the triangular top that protrudes above the roof.
The coloured windows of the galleries complete the attractiveness of this façade.
